Seneca’s Strategic Mandate Agreement

Seneca’s Strategic Mandate Agreement (SMA) was submitted to the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities articulating our mandate, vision and priority objectives; this document is part of an ongoing conversation with the Ministry about Seneca's role as a leading college in the province.

The College delivered its submission using a “Raspberry Pi,” a computer that fits in the palm of your hands and features software developed with the help of Seneca students and faculty in the Centre for Development of Open Technology. Selling for $35 per unit, since its launch earlier this year, there have already been more than 200,000 pre-orders of the low-cost computer that is helping to improve access to technology.
