Here for You:” the Campaign for Students (C4S) officially drew to a close on Wednesday, with the announcement an that more than $3.3 million dollars in new money has been raised to support student financial aid.
C4S co-Chairs Seneca President David Agnew and Seneca Student Federation President Samir Abdi shared the totals at the Campaign’s closing ceremonies, held at Newnham Campus and streamed online across the College.
With unprecedented support from staff, students, alumni and community partners, the Campaign surpassed all its projected targets. Totals from the six week internal Campaign include:

The internal $70,000 goal was 10 per cent of the College’s overall $700,000 target to maximize government matching funds before March 31. President Agnew also announced that this goal was surpassed with $1,058,000 raised, thanks to community partners, external donors and a $200,000 contribution from the Seneca Student Federation.
The event concluded with the exciting news that the SSF will also be donating an additional $1 million to establish the “Seneca Student Federation Bursary Program,” an endowment to support students in need for many years to come.
