IDP403 - Photography Business IV

This course will prepare students for setting-up and managing a photography business in the area of their own interest.

IDP405 - Pro Seminar in IDP

Each week, guest speakers from within the photographic industry will come and speak to the students. For each speaker, students will be required to research the speaker or topic and develop three questions to ask the speaker. During 4 classes distributed throughout the semester, the students will discuss the previous weeks speakers and how the topics discussed relate to their individual future career goals.

IDP406 - Independent Project in IDP - Preproduction

In this course students will work on the preproduction details of their Independent projects, including location scouting, prop sourcing, model casting and budgeting. They will produce a ?workback schedule? that will provide them with a framework to ensure the completion of their project. They will also work on the planning and layout of final presentations of their portfolios. Students will meet regularly with their teacher for feedback and to ensure they stay on track to produce quality work to the best of their abilities.

IDP407 - Independent Project in IDP - Production

In this course students will work on the production of their independent projects. This will include shooting the images they have planned and preproduced, completion of digital retouching and production of self promotion materials. Students will meet regularly with their teacher for feedback and to ensure they are staying on track. By the end of the course students will have finished presentations complete with a printed portfolio and promotional materials including business cards, letterhead and ?eave-behinds.?
