Students learn to perform reference. Some of the numerous activities performed by the students include conducting reference interviews, and producing bibliographies and other tools to assist library users.

FPL280 - Field Placement I for Library and Information Technicians

Students are required to complete field placement to apply the theory and skills they have learned in semesters one and two and to gain work experience. A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. (net) is required.
