Civil Engineering Technicians and Technologists are involved in the planning, design, and construction of major infrastructure and services including roads, tunnels, bridges, water supplies, buildings, and new communities.

You work in an office with a latest computer technology where you design the built environment, or in the field where you survey, test materials and soils, and construct new facilities or improve the quality of existing ones.

You solve problems as they arise on the everyday basis often at a construction site or in your company's boardroom. You make a difference both to the quality of the environment and to permanent built features used by everyone.
