Algoma University will offer transfer credits for all Seneca graduates from either a 2 or 3 year diploma program depending on college GPA and the degree of affinity or relation between diploma and degree programs. See algomau.ca/diplomadegree for more information.

For all Seneca College 3 year advanced diploma graduates with a GPA from 2.5 to 2.99 are eligible for up to 30 credits and graduates with a grade point average of 3.0 to 4.0 are eligible for up to 60 credits, respectively toward a 90 credit 3 year degree or a 120 credit 4 year degree in a related field.

Seneca College 2 year diploma graduates with a GPA from 2.5 to 2.99 are eligible for up to 45 credits and graduates with a GPA of 3.0 to 4.0 are eligible for up to 45, respectively, toward a related degree unless otherwise stated.

Seneca Program: Social Service Worker

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Community Development, Bachelor of Arts in Community, Economic, and Social Development

Graduates of this diploma program may be eligible for 54 credits towards the 90 credit 3 year Community Development and the 120 credit 4 year Community, Economic, and Social Development degree program.


Seneca Program: Social Service Worker - Immigrants and Refugees

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Community Development, Bachelor of Arts in Community, Economic, and Social Development

Graduates of this diploma program may be eligible for 57 credits towards the 90 credit 3 year Community Development and the 120 credit 4 year Community, Economic, and Social Development degree program.
