Seneca Program: Open (Any relevant Seneca diploma program)

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Honours)

Graduates of 3 year diploma programs, with an overall average of A (GPA 3.2) or better, are eligible to apply and may receive 48 to 54 transfer credits toward an Honours Bachelor of Arts (Multiple Majors) degree.


Seneca Program: Open (Any relevant Seneca diploma program)

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (General)

Graduates of 3 year diploma programs, with an overall average of B (GPA 2.8) or better, are eligible to apply and may receive 36 transfer credits toward a Bachelor of Arts (General) degree.


Seneca Program: Social Service Worker

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (General) - Gerontology

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.2 or better, are eligible to apply and will receive 7 full courses (42 credits).


Seneca Program: Social Service Worker

Degree: Bachelor of Social Work

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.2 or better, are eligible to apply and will receive 5 full courses (30 credits).


Seneca Program: Social Service Worker

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Social Work (Native Human Services)

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better, are eligible to apply and will receive 7 full courses (42 credits).


Seneca Program: Journalism

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or better, are eligible to apply and will receive 60 credits towards the degree.


Seneca Program: Civil Engineering Technology - (Optional Co-op)

Degree: Bachelor of Science in Liberal Science

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better, are eligible to apply and will receive 48 credits towards the degree.


Seneca Program: Police Foundations

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (General) - Law and Justice

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 2.8-3.1 are eligible to apply and will receive the equivalent of 5 full courses (30 credits) towards the degree.

Graduates with a minimum GPA of 3.2 or better are eligible to apply and will receive the equivalent of 7 full courses (42 credits) towards the degree.


Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Accounting & Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Human Resources - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - International Business - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Marketing - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Purchasing and Supply Management

Degree: Honours Bachelor of Commerce

Graduates from these 3 year Business Diplomas with a minimum GPA of 3.2 are eligible to apply and may receive up to 60 credits towards the 120 credit Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. Graduates of a 3 year diploma in Accounting who are registered as CGA students and have completed the first three levels of the CGA program of professional studies can register in the HBCom offered online through the Laurentian University CGA partnership. Please consult the cga.laurentian.ca website for detailed information about the online program.


Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (General) in Psychology

Graduates with a GPA between 2.8 and 3.1 can enter the Psychology program and receive 30 university credits (5 full courses). Graduates with a GPA of 3.2 or higher will receive 42 credits (7 full courses). Students can complete all required courses and electives via distance education on a part-time or full-time basis.


Seneca Program: Child and Youth Care (Formerly: Child and Youth Worker)

Degree: Bachelor of Arts (General) in Psychology

Graduates with a GPA between 2.8 and 3.1 will receive 36 university credits (6 full courses). Graduates with a GPA of 3.2 or higher will receive 54 credits (9 full courses). Students can complete all required courses and electives via distance education on a part-time or full-time basis.
