Degree: Bachelor of Commerce, Business Management – Direct Entry Program
Graduates with a minimum cumulative ‘B’ average 3.2 GPA are considered for direct entry into the third year of this 4-year degree in Business Management through full or part-time studies. Please note that subject to competition, candidates may be required to submit grades/averages above the minimum. Students are required to select a major in this degree program and are encouraged to stay with their Seneca option in order to maximize credit transfer. Degree: Bachelor of Commerce, Business Technology Management – Degree Completion program
Graduates with a minimum cumulative ‘B’ average (3.0 GPA) are considered for admission to this degree completion program in Business Technology Management through full or part-time evening studies by completing 21 courses in as little as four semesters. No reachback courses are assigned.

Degree: Bachelor of Commerce, Business Technology Management – Direct-Entry program
Graduates with a minimum cumulative ‘B’ average (3.0 GPA) are considered for admission and advanced standing into the fifth semester of this 8 semester degree program in Business Technology Management. In most cases, students will be asked to take up to a maximum of six one-term prescribed first and second year reachback courses to provide foundation study in key academic areas.
Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education
Degree: Bachelor of Arts, Early Childhood Studies
Graduates with a minimum cumulative ‘B’ average (3.0 GPA), with proof of diploma completion are considered for admission to the third year of the four-year degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE). Please note that subject to competition, candidates may be required to submit grades/averages above the minimum. In addition, students must complete three one-term university-level liberal studies courses (e.g. History, Philosophy, Languages, etc.), with grades of B- (70%) or higher. One of the Liberal Studies courses must be an English subject. These courses cannot include introductory level Psychology or Sociology. College General Education courses or any ECE diploma courses cannot be used as substitutions for the university level liberal studies courses. Seneca Program: Fashion Business Management, Fashion Business
Degree: Bachelor of Commerce, Retail Management
The Ted Rogers School of Retail Management will consider graduates of the two year Fashion Business program and three-year Fashion Business Management program for admission to the second year of the four year Bachelor of Commerce – Retail Management degree program. Some reachback courses are required. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required for consideration. Graduates of the three-year Fashion Business Management Diploma may be eligible for additional transfer credits. Due to competition, candidates may be required to submit grades/averages above the minimum.
Seneca Program: Social Service Worker - Gerontology, Social Service Worker - Immigrants and Refugees, Social Service Worker
Degree: Bachelor of Social Work
Graduates with a minimum cumulative ‘B’ average (3.0 GPA) are eligible for admission consideration to the part-time advanced standing program. Admitted applicants are placed in the 3rd year of the four year degree program in Social Work. Please note that subject to competition, candidates may be required to present grades/averages above the minimum. Graduates must complete three, one-term university liberal studies courses (by January 1st of the year of admission). It is recommended that at least two of these courses are completed at the time of application. These courses must include one lower-level course and two upper-level courses from Ryerson or equivalent from another university, with at least a ‘C’ grade in each course. These courses may be taken from disciplines such as English, French, Geography, History, Philosophy, and Spanish. Due to their close relation to the professional field, first year/ level Politics, Psychology, and Sociology cannot be taken as Liberal Studies credit. Applicants are also required to submit two reference letters (one academic and one profession or two professional), a personal statement and a resume. Those selected will be invited to participate in the Social Work Foundations course, CVSW15A/B. Applicants must achieve a minimum ‘B-’ grade in this course. Please note that subject to competition, candidates may be required to submit grades/averages above the minimum.
Graduates will be considered for admission into the post-diploma degree completion program in Disabilities Studies and within the equivalent of two years of full-time study will be eligible for a Bachelor of Arts in Disabilities Studies. This program is offered on a part-time basis only. Applicants are required to have the following: an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT ) diploma in Developmental Services Work or other disability-related program (e.g. Social Service Worker) with a concentration in the area of disability and with at least a B+ (75 per cent) average; up to two one term university level humanities or social science course or equivalent; two years (or equivalent) related work/ advocacy experience (applicants without this may be accepted but must either complete DST 80 in the program or apply for exemption if achieved while in the program).
