Seneca’s bachelor degree programs offer articulation opportunities for students in many diploma programs. Admission criteria vary with each program. Transfer credit will depend upon diploma program, grades, and academic course content.


Seneca Program: Open (Any relevant Seneca diploma program)

Degree: Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies

Seneca 3 year advanced diploma graduates with a GPA of 3.0 are eligible to receive up to 60 credits towards this 120 credit (4 year) degree program, and will be able to graduate with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree after approximately 4 more semesters. Seneca 2 year diploma graduates with a GPA of 3.0 are eligible to receive up to 45 credits towards this 120 credit (4 year) degree program, and will be able to graduate with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree after approximately 5 more semesters. Graduates from Seneca’s Certificate and Post Graduate Certificate programs who meet admission requirements are encouraged to apply and may be eligible for some transfer credit. This degree is offered on both a full time and part time basis. Seneca Program: Early Childhood Education

Degree: Bachelor of Child Development

Seneca Program: Recreation and Leisure Services - (Co-op), Social Service Worker - Gerontology

Degree: Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation

Consideration will be given for block transfer credit to students who have completed the above Seneca diploma programs. There will be some additional pre-requisite subjects required when transferring into this degree. Graduates from the above 2 year diploma programs must have a minimum GPA of 2.7, whereas graduates from the above 3 year diploma program must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
