PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This diploma program prepares students to work in the expanding field of digital electronics with applications to computer-based equipment in the electronic data processing and communications areas.

AREA OF STUDY:
Areas of study include electricity, mathematics, passive circuits, electronic circuits, electronic devices, measurements, computers, data communication systems, microcontrollers, computer simulation, English and General Education. The second year will provide specialization in areas such as computer hardware and software, local and wide area networks, and interfacing peripheral devices. The student will acquire experience with state of the art equipment including microprocessors and computer systems.
