King City, Sept. 28, 2018 - The Honourable Merrilee Fullerton, Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities, and Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan joined Seneca officials, students and staff yesterday for the grand opening of Magna Hall at Seneca’s King Campus.

The new 200,000 square foot facility includes 25 new classrooms, computer labs, specialty labs, a library, and student centre with a multi-purpose athletic and recreation space. The campus can now accommodate 1,450 additional students, creating a total capacity of more than 5,000 full-time students, while enhancing the quality of student learning and campus life. The project allows Seneca to expand its range of health, community service and public safety programs.

Construction of Seneca’s King Campus expansion began in August 2016, and the project was completed in May 2018. At the peak of construction, there were more than 300 workers on site daily.
