Seneca shows off its best decor and tabletop designs

The Inspired Spaces Tabletop Competition showed off the best original decor and tabletop designs of 22 Event Management - Event and Exhibit Design students on August 1. Held in the Great Hall at Newnham Campus, the entries were judged by event industry representatives. More photos

Winner of the Industry Choice Award and the People's Choice Award was Sara Afshar, (above centre) for her Gypsy themed design, pictured with Joy McKinnon, Vice-President Academic, and John MacBride, Program Co-ordinator. Sara received an iPad, a selection of event design books, and a student membership to the International Special Events Society for winning the Industry Choice Award. For the People's Choice Award price she received $150 in Aeroplan miles and a Starbucks gift card.

The Industry Choice Award runner-up was Lauren Hildebrandt (centre) for her vintage wedding design who received a selection of event design books.
