Seneca’s HDTV studio

A broadcast-standard high definition television studio and post production facility is used by students at our Seneca@York Campus. Created in partnership with leading developers of broadcast equipment, including Avid, Panasonic, and Applied Electronics Limited, the state-of-the-art facility is considered to be the best of its kind in any academic institution.

The studio was designed not only to meet industry needs, but also with the teaching and learning process in mind. It allows faculty to teach and mentor like they never have before. For example, the audio equipment has been designed so that faculty will be able stop and replay audio during a production — and give students immediate feedback.
