School Specific Outline: SSC100

SUCCESS STRATEGIES FOR COLLEGE

Prerequisites

None

Topic Outline        (see last page)

Modes of Instruction

This subject outline may be adjusted depending upon the time allocation for guest speakers and in-class activities.

Your professor may select ANY in-class or out-of-class assignment which may include but is not limited to portfolios, self-evaluations, group assignments, case studies, etc. for grading with or without prior notice.  It is a good idea to BE THERE and BE PREPARED!

Students are required to attend class.  NO ASSIGNMENTS will be accepted outside of class for grading purposes.  In addition, students have 15 marks of the final grade allocated for attendance and participation. Being late may also result in a mark reduction because of the disruption of the entire class group.

Students must have their TEXTS no later than the week of SEPT. 12 as activities, assignments, and evaluation begin at that time.  Assignments are due in the class period of the week noted.

LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!
