Submissions to CQ

Authors are requested to submit work in electronic format (e.g., within an e-mail or as an attachment to an e-mail, on diskette or CD) using any software (e.g., Rich Text Format or MS WORD for PC or MAC computers) and in APA style with as little formatting as possible. We would prefer not to receive printed text manuscripts.

All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 100 words, and a byline about the author(s). CQ accepts no responsibility for the return of contributors' media if submitted in a format other than e-mail, and authors are reminded to retain current copies of all work submitted.

Manuscripts may be submitted at any time. Authors will normally be notified within 2 to 3 weeks that the manuscript has been received and whether or not the article is accepted for review. Manuscripts submitted for peer review will be blinded and reviewed by a panel of experts in the relevant field. It may take up to three months for a peer review to be completed. General interest articles accepted for publication may be published in the next edition of the CQ or held for later publication as appropriate.
