| Information for Authors
The College Quarterly (CQ) is an independent journal of research and discussion published by Seneca College. It is directed primarily to college educators, and others interested in post-secondary college education relevant to the Canadian context. Submissions should be original manuscripts; electronic format, Canadian spelling and APA style are required. Work most likely to be published will address one or more of the following themes as they relate to education and Canadian colleges. The journal publishes both peer reviewed and editor only reviewed aricles; peer reviewed articles will be clearly identified as such with the symbol
The content of manuscripts accepted for publication, including titles, text, tables, diagrams and graphics, are subject, without consultation with the author(s), to such reformatting and modification as is deemed necessary for publication and to those minor editorial changes which, in the Editors judgement, do not substantially alter the intent of the original manuscript. The copyright for all content published in the CQ belongs to The College Quarterly, Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, Toronto, Ontario.
Authors are requested to submit work in electronic format (e.g., within an e-mail or as an attachment to an e-mail, on diskette or CD) using any software (e.g., Rich Text Format or MS WORD for PC or MAC computers) and in APA style with as little formatting as possible. We would prefer not to receive printed text manuscripts. All submissions must be accompanied by an abstract of no more than 100 words, and a byline about the author(s). CQ accepts no responsibility for the return of contributors' media if submitted in a format other than e-mail, and authors are reminded to retain current copies of all work submitted. Manuscripts may be submitted at any time. Authors will normally be notified within 2 to 3 weeks that the manuscript has been received and whether or not the article is accepted for review. Manuscripts submitted for peer review will be blinded and reviewed by a panel of experts in the relevant field. It may take up to three months for a peer review to be completed. General interest articles accepted for publication may be published in the next edition of the CQ or held for later publication as appropriate. All correspondence should be addressed Katharine Janzen, Ed.D., Senior Editor, The College Quarterly, at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, 8 The Seneca Way, Markham, Ontario, Canada L3R 5Y1 .
