The 13th Annual Seneca Retirees Association Christmas Luncheon was held at the Toronto Cricket & Skating Club on December 3, 2008. Over 100 Senecans including Presidents Newnham, McCutcheon, Quinlan and Miner were treated to a superb buffet in very pleasant surroundings and were entertained by our esteemed SRA President and Master of Ceremonies, Joe Brookman. Jim Streeter gave grace followed by Joe directing heavy traffic to the buffet tables.

Joe presented Linda Hendy with a small gift and SRA's best wishes as she embarks on a new career with her husband in sunny Mexico. For the last 4 years, Linda has been extremely supportive of the Association and, without her help, the Association could not have been as successful as it has been. As well, Corinne Falconer presented Dr. Miner with a small gift as a token of SRA's appreciation for his support of the Association during his tenure as President of the College.

 Kudos to Linda Hendy and her staff for making sure this was a great occasion for all us old retirees. If noise was any indication of success, then we were off the chart.

If you didn't make it this time, you should really give it a try next year.
