Graduates from the EPC program will be better equipped to consult with seniors on a level that will be understood and accepted by the senior. The number of professions that presently advise seniors is wide and extremely diverse. The course material content will enable the participant to gain the knowledge to deal positively with the fastest growing segment of our population.

Program Description

The program is composed of four textbooks containing 22 chapters that provide a comprehensive look at the various factors that affect our dealings with elders. This Senior generation views life differently than later generations and their decisions are based on different paradigms.

This course will enable you to assist the elder in their planning and care in terms that they will accept and appreciate. The program was developed by industry specific experts who have written the material and often present at the campuses.

The object of the program is to enable the individual to enhance their skill set so as to better serve the rapidly increasing senior segment of the population that will be their primary practice in the near future.  It is helpful, although not a necessity, to be in an associated field that is, or will shortly be dealing with seniors, such as:

  • Lawyers
  • Accountants
  • Health Care workers
  • Care givers
  • Nursing Homes & Retirement Centre owners
  • Long Term Care workers
  • Nurses
  • Social Workers
  • Financial Advisors
  • Financial Services Managers
  • Adult children of seniors
  • Funeral Directors
