School-College-Work Initiative at Seneca College
(SCWI)

Experience Life as a College Student!
As a Dual Credit student, you'll become a Seneca student with a Student ID card and access to services on Campus. Also, your transportation to Seneca is covered!

What is a Dual Credit?
A Dual Credit is a college course that will potentially earn you two credits;

  • one towards your high school diploma
  • one towards your college education

Dual Credit courses are FREE for eligible high school students and you will get to experience life as a Seneca student!

What is School-College-Work Initiative?

SCWI is a program designed to help you see pathways to College. It’s a great way to learn about the many programs and opportunities available to you at College. The program will also help you be successful once you are a College student. SCWI is co-funded by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

2013-2014 Dual Credit Bursary Recipients

Seneca presented 16 Dual Credit bursaries worth $1,000 each to secondary school students who have successfully completed a dual credit course and are now enrolled in a full-time program at the College.
