Global Logistics
Subject Description
Students will develop an understanding of managing logistics across international boundaries; analyze operations and logistics problems on a global scale; implement changes to business processes and corporate strategies to advance the company's global and logistics framework.
Credit Status
One Full Credit.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this subject the student will be able to:
1. Describe the forces of globalization and the methods of how to tackle these forces.
2. Compare the global competitive forces of logistics and conceptualize a framework of the global logistics process.
3. Calculate the costs of global logistics and determine the best methods of transporting goods around the world.
