EBM530 - Planning a New Business Venture
This course provides students with the opportunity to investigate a new business venture of interest, and determine its feasibility. Students prepare a business plan, requiring them to apply and synthesize what has been learned in their business program to date. As well, they present their product and service in a professional manner to others. Throughout the course, students develop an appreciation for the requirements of a successful entrepreneurial venture.

MGS521 - Business Ethics and Values
Students are introduced to a serious consideration of ethics and values in business life. If ethics tell us what is right, values tell us what is good. If ethics is the study of right conduct, an inquiry into values is the study of right thought, of judgment. Students will be encouraged to examine their own values and ethics, and to study and discuss pertinent and current business situations involving ethical choices around values. Students will concern themselves with two main questions: (1) What is the fundamental ethical issue in business today? (2) Can business afford to be ethical?
