SSW102 - Diversity: Awareness and Practice
This course challenges students to use an integrative, anti-racist, and access and equity analyses to become self aware of, and politicize, their own social locations, values and beliefs and how these differences affect the relationship between worker and service recipient. Through this framework, students will also begin to comprehend how fields of systemic and relational power manifest in local communities and shape people's access to material and personal resources.
