Krishan is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the fundraising, advancement communications and alumni portfolios. Prior to joining Seneca in 2010, he worked in fund development at the University of Toronto. Krishan is an instructor in Ryerson’s Fundraising Management certificate program and a PhD student at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. He also serves as the Vice President of Inclusion and Equity for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Toronto Chapter.

Tan-Ling is responsible for raising funds for awards and bursaries. She is an accomplished fundraising professional that has worked for not-for-profit foundations in Canada and abroad. Prior to joining the College in 2011, Tan-Ling was the York University Foundation’s Chief Development Officer for Libraries. She holds a bachelor of commerce and bachelor of administration degrees from the University of Ottawa.

Corey is responsible for operations and project management for Marketing and Advancement. He is also the managing editor for RED magazine and a part-time professor. Prior to joining the College over five years ago, Corey was with the Ontario Public Service. He has a master’s degree in media studies from the University of Oslo and an honours degree in communication from Lewis & Clark College.

Cathy is responsible for programmatic and capital fundraising. She has combined her professional experiences in teaching and fundraising with organizations such as The Bishop Strachan School, the University of Toronto and the Canadian Stage Company. Cathy holds a fine arts degree from Concordia University, a bachelor of education from Western University and a post-graduate certificate in arts and cultural management from Humber College.

Barry is responsible for alumni relations and advancement communications products. Barry has been with Seneca for over 7 years in Student Recruitment and Liaison. Prior to joining Seneca, Barry has worked for Colleges Ontario and Queen’s Park. Barry has a bachelor in social science from the University of Ottawa.

Katie works on projects and events for the Advancement team and provides support to the Executive Director. She joined the College in 2011 from Peacock Philanthropic Counsel Inc. Katie earned a post-graduate certificate in fundraising and volunteer management from Humber College and a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Alison is the first point of contact for alumni inquiries and is responsible for data and event management and daily office activities. She has been with Seneca since 1987. Alison is a double graduate of the College, with diplomas from the Social Service Worker and Law Clerk programs. She is also a registered social service worker.

Nasrin provides support to the Senior Development Officers with respect to fundraising. Prior to Seneca, she was the Administrator & Events Coordinator for the Markham Board of Trade. Nasrin is a Seneca College graduate, completing the Legal Office Administration program with Honours. She also acts as the Commissioner of Oaths for the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce.

Shelley is responsible for supporting the Senior Development Officers. Prior to joining the College in late 2012, she was the Regional Administrative Assistant for Alternate Funding at Kerry’s Place Autism Services in Aurora. Shelley holds a Legal Secretarial Certificate from Centennial College and a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Office and Administrative Studies from Ryerson University.

Danielle assists with communications and event facilitation for the Advancement and Alumni Department. She joined the College in late 2012 as a co-op student from the Corporate Communications graduate certificate program at Seneca. Before returning to school, she worked at CIBC Investor Services. Danielle has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Ryerson University.
